Waste Collection Schedules

Single Family Residents

  • Receive five days of service, Monday through Friday
  • Includes four days of garbage and one day of recycling collection

Commercial Establishments

  • Receive five days of service, Monday through Friday
  • Hotels, restaurants and other facilities producing putrescible waste (waste that will rot) are serviced seven days per week 
  • Recycling also available for businesses

NOTE: For the safety of sanitation crews, all garbage must be placed inside the container for collection.  Container(s) must be watertight and no larger than 50 gallons.

Recyclable Items

Styrofoam, plastic bags and food waste CANNOT be placed in recycle
Plastic bags can only be recycled at certain stores such as Publix in designated bins

Violation of Town Ordinances on proper recycling procedures may be subject to issuance of a warning notice. If you have questions, please contact the Public Works Department at (561) 838-5440.
